Subversion isn't perfect. If there's one thing that I've learned in working with Subversion it's to always ask questions, never take anything for granted. I'm not saying that Subversion ignores users' request (or promotes) for check-in dates, as when you want modification dates of that package being checked-in, and the ability to remove all historical records from the repo is still not supported 'out of the box.' Whatever works in sudo-land, I guess But I digress. As I mentioned, I'm not afraid to ask questions, especially since I'm not the most technically inclined developer in the bunch. I'm more effective... Continue reading

A product that's marketed from an agency will sometimes review its features involved from usability testing. This testing enables the agency to devise a careful strategy to provoke its audience's anticipation for a release date, or simply go out and purchase it. The Add ons for Firefox have the potential to either be your friend, or your enemy. This depends from user to user, and Barry Schwartz at a TED conference gave a great presentation on the paradox of choice: It's possible to make the process of decision making an easy task, for what it's worth to the average Firefox user who... I've been playing around with MonoTouch for quite sometime and enjoy its functionality. What's nice about Touch is the third party software involved, especially Html Agility Pack. The HTML Agiity Pack allows a developer to parse a web page and scrape together web features, like a RSS feed from just an XSLT file serving as the main binding. Parsing out of the web core html files are important to any iphone developer. Mono is really capitalising on the .NET lib and spreading the word on numerous platforms. The open source community is proving to be a tactile choice to improve... Continue reading
