First, GUNOT Killa... you retarded. Its too many reasons to give you... so you just retarded. Second, you gotta challenge these artist. YES 3 stacks is great, okay. But he has NO SOLO EFFORT I heard absolute crickets bout 3K before Shadys "Collapse" list. Just being honest, and all of a sudden, he showin up on everybodys list?! CHALLENGEE HIM. He gettin props and he has Zero solo effort as far as hip hop... AT LEAST Big Boi gave us one... muthafuckas just dick ridin man... ok he's a great emcee but all the illest albums were solo efforts(think Illmatic). All I'm sayin is challenge him. That's why he don't make my top five.... people got the opinions I got mine...

THAT lil nigga was the "stupid" one.... the "gay" boy was the one jumping rope and playin wit dolls... smh this dude lil b calls his album "I'm Gay" and takes pics with purple tight-low-cut Vnecks... basically blouses... and says he likes women.... NO NIGGA YOU LIKE TO DRESS LIKE WOMEN! This mufucka gone come out after the album bet that!

I heard a lotta interesting shit. But facts is facts. He was a C.O. Even if it was for 1 DAY. That's what he was. He lied about his past. So why can't he lie about being a king pin. Bottom line...and FUCK GETTIN OVER IT!! THAT NIGGA NEED TO BE TRUE TO HIMSELF OR KEEP IT MOVING!! Second, I saw somebody tryna compare what Ross doing to what Pac did. The difference between the two is Pac told people that he was sharing experiences with the world. We had to dig this nigga Ross' past up!! Shame on whoever said that!!

Gotta say Obie Trice man. I can't see how he's not mentioned at all. Yea his first album did bout two mill. But only cuz he was under Shady. But SROM was on point lyrically. Dudes nice man but he never gets mentioned.

You two muthafuckas should be lawyers. Ole girl wasn't even aggressive with Chris, he just started geeting mad seemingly before she started asking questions at all. On the other hand ole girl that sat down with Sheen made him take a drug test and everything...

Same mufuckas was sayin Wayne more relevant than Nas... this is why he more relevant. Cuz he'll jump on EVERYBODYS shit! Smh
1 reply
This is nuts. When has Wayne ever actually put together an ALBUM, not a mixtape you can market but a thought-provoking ALBUM in his entire career. Who, honestly has he inspired to pick up a pencil and record. You talkin about a hip-hop revolutionary vs a junkie who made tattooing every single limb on your body cool. Nas old shit sound classic while wayne new shit is well, more of his old shit. All wayne do is find clever ways to say the same shit over and over and mufuckas just fall for it. When wayne is done he not gone be remembered/respected like nas, niggas just on his dick cuz he hot NOW. How many niggas been in his shoes and forgotten? The nigga Wayne is a mixtape artist at best. What my man Lu say,"this more than just a pause and a laugh...." Bottom line:The Beitch said that to make a sale.

Alf Boss hear me out... Buck kept G-Unit float. He was their "clean-up man" people forget that. When everybody didn't do so well on G-Unit Records, he made 50s money back. Am I right or wrong?

Ka13... read what I said up there. The long piece man.

I'm just sayin its people before Pac that did the same exact thing. (Rakim Chuck D etc...). Matter fact, its chiefs who did the same thing. NO RECORD LABEL! People like Larry Hoover, Jeff Forte... I know Gangsta shit I got to, I'm from Chicago, the birthplace of gangsta! You GOTTA know the streets out here. Sayin that, he got his game from his moms, who was a Black Panther every way you hear him talk was Afeni Shakur. SHE was the gangster. He always said he got in trouble when he got famous, how he was spittin what his homies was goin thru... he just wasn't afraid of that life... at least at first. Of course we know what happened AFTER he blew up... but there were street mufuckas that wanted the same result. For example, Hoover was WAY bigger than pac. But you can't tell me that Hoover wasn't about unity. You can't tell me he wasn't about guarding the oppressed. He came from that. Pac innovated he didn't reinvent cuz it was here before... WAY before. The people that praised Pac for being gangsta DIDN'T learn from him... at all. So how the fuck could you call yourself influenced if you didn't follow his word. THUGLIFE was his movement and it died with him. Disagree? Who still screamin it. I'm just givin you facts bruh. That's all.

@Patternmaster... Real shit!

@RealTalk... lol only here to help homie. A lot of mufuckas be talkin out they ass Pa. Lol I love this site but they opinions be supported by bullshit. I felt that long as ARTICLE I put was necessary. Big bein the GOAT was a trend to me. The reason why SOHH is coverin this NOW because its safe to do now. But why? This is a bigger scale than corner talk. Why ain't this come up years ago?! Why is it a big question on the anniversary of his death?! Seems a lil disrespectful cuz we all accepted it for so long... idk
1 reply
@RealTalk... it'll actually be Batman and Nightwing... Robin was his sidekick, Nightwing was his protegè. I know a lil bout a lil lol!
@RealTalk... you right fam. And I feel that. But it was puffs direction that pushed Big to that level. He was strong in delivery, he was. I remember listening to his intro on the Lyricist Lounge intro. Incredible. My point is, nobody wouldd give him that credit if he was alive. I just don't believe that. I know cuz I listen to ready2die like, "why they have to take this nigga?!" So I feel you. That's why I had to give JO that credit, he doin that same formula w/o a Puffy. Mufuckas don't see it now but they will. You gotta ask urself. You honestly, REALLY think BIG would have the same career if puff ain't find em and givem that direction?
@Havel...You feel me? @John...... Johnson(what are you a newscaster lol j/k)? Nah I felt kinda funny puttin Free Agent up there I feel like he spits like he wants it feel me? He spits like that's his goal. The great thing about what Em did(in signing SH) is that he can release material from them individually, they all individually have they own fan base... its a fuckin win-win. People get with majors and think they made it, nah son. It only gets iller!! Keep pumpin them MixTapes pa!! Gain fan base while the label promotes/works on image/get you them magazine articles/covers. You ain't done damnit!! He's that to me. So while it didn't feel right to include JO, it didn't feel right NOT to either. Most of the people who talk about pac being the GOAT are NOT SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS!! I remember being IN GRADE SCHOOL when pac was on the positivie shit like...wtf is THIS?! I grew to love it gaining knowlege and finding understanding and experience. He was brave enough to rap aabout these things. And he was good at it. But he wasn't the first... PE, Nas, GFK, Slick Rick, the Geto Boyz, did this. Do they get the credit? Nah cuz they still alive and that's fucked up!! I'm a man, All That I Got Is You made me fuckin cry dude. I remember hearing Maxine like, "Oh SHIT, no he di'ant!!(lol) I understood. I felt that. Not saying I ain't feel it when pac was doing it I just wasn't looking for it. He was so good at the rebel/gangsta shit that, that's all I wanted from him. Sorry. I saw somebody said all Em could do was talk about moms and rebel shit and wasn't socially conscious? Well, wtf is Mosh, White America, Stimulate... HUH?! Got ta be out yo mind man. Gotta be just honest. Sex sells, but nothing sells or do to your career like death! Some of these dead guys... wouldn't be GOAT status if they were alive man... Puff pushed BIGs image. He marketed that man as the KONY. And then Jay took that formula from puff and applied it to himself. Being that NY is the Mecca of hip-hop, its easy for a mufucka to assume if you lyrically on top of that city, you on top of the world!! Pac went against that, he targetted that. He's famous for going against the machine, and a lot of other machines(the governtment etc...) Pac was brave enough to use his fame to really touch on these subjects, really sacrificed himself for the black man, but he was wreckless. And nobody changed because of Pac. If anything we doin worse, even with a black president. We killin eachother at an alarming rate... the '90s are back!! So how influential was he?! ****IF YOU FEEL GUILTY AT THIS POINT, GOOD***** Shit makes me sick when mufuckas hold on to what the dead guys did. Only because it gives the guys who are alive absolutely no credit(Saigon, Black Star etc...) I love Pac, I love Big, I love L, I love Pun but people pay too much attention to what they did and not what they doin. And I know you thinkin"West, they dead dumbass!" But look @it like this raise of hands of how many people socially conscious RIGHT NOW because of Pac? How come lyrics weren't checked at the door after the Bigs died?! Absolutely nothing changed in hip-hop but the weather. It actually got worse A lot of these bitch ass artist cite big and pac as they inspiration to rap and these mufuckas ain't even 25+ years old...HOW?! Even if you listen NOW you weren't aware of what was goin on socially cuz either you was a baby or a sperm!! The only artists I give props to is BTnH. Why? Cuz they were the only ones outside NY/LA to do songs wit Big/Pac. If they were respected among Hip-Hop they shoulda got reached out to by other artists.... Eminem is a favorite, the nigga charges 1500 for a feature!! Is u serious? And nobody 25+ who were artists back then could reach out and would wanna do some songs with these guys... you gotta be kidding me!! Its become cliché to say Pac and Big are your favorits/the greatest... WERE they great? Yes! ARE they great now? How can they be?
You mufuckas got shit...ALL FUCKED UP! How can Biggie be Considered the GOAT right? The nigga had two...TWO albums under his belt. He was great yes, but his time was cut short. Besides, lyrically, and I know imma catch hella flack from this but *sigh* Pun was better than Big man, in my opinion. I think too many mufuckas listened to Puff say BIG was the best since he stepped on the scene. But Capital Punishment Vs Ready2Die??? Its almost uncomparable!! Hov came in the right label at the right time with the right team. He rode that his whole career. Props to Hov for that. He maad clever, gotta give it to that mufucka.... I see somebdy uptop say something about Hov coming full circle without mentioning Busta doing the exact same thing from an even EARLIER era!! Come onenow... with that id like to tell you my GOAT and why.... GHOSTFACE KILLAH! YES!! Because he never put out a bad album. Fuck sales. He has a solid, unmatched catalouge. Second Joe Budden. I mean, why the fuck not?! Mood Muzik series solidified Jump Off. When he in that Mode, ain't no one better man. Third, Kweli. Your favorite rappers favorite rapper. His catalouge is just as solid. Especially when him and Blackstar get together. Fourth. I gotta say busta but he just not, I don't feel right putting him in front of those three. Its just how I feel about it. Fifth TO ME... Joell Ortiz. He's serious and funny. And as far as Hip-Hop he can rap his ass off. Don't think he deserve GOAT status yet, let your favorite rapper go against him, it'll get ugly real quick!! "Battlecry" really showed his range alone! People are so quick to say Pac and Ra and Kool G Rap and all those dudes and they not even from that era... its silly man. I don't care if you amazoned the album, stop talkin out ya ass. So sticking to the"List" rule... here's my list. GFK Jumpoff K1 Bustah Mr. Yawuh
