it's fascinating to hear the process and your thoughts on this. I think a lot of people have ideas of payment for their art/writing and it's often a different story in reality. I've had my writing on different websites from time to time and it's strange to see it mixed with a bad photo or a photo that didn't begin to capture what I was writing about. It's sometimes hard to let go in a way. I haven't been to your blog in a long time but your art is beautiful, sweet and inspiring.

HappenWood Workbench / Kitchen Island B y - Selena Cate One of the reasons we use alchemy as part of our business description is that there often is a bit of magic that materializes when we are building furniture. The definition found online describes it as this - "a seemingly... Continue reading

Antique Workbench B y - Selena Cate The Ugly Duckling story sticks in our mind as we wander into barns, dusty garages or cluttered basements. B y - Selena Cate This is one of our favorite pieces that we've ever come across. This stunning oak piece of furniture began in an old Mercantile, later ended up in an insurance agency (probably mid 1950's) and eventually made it's way into a workshop in Sonoma County. Before... Continue reading
