This one took a bit longer but not harder. After the third try I already got the hang of the pen tool. It didn't take long to finish it as I thought from the beginning. There were other simple and easier (lazy...lol jk) options to choose from but I wanted... Continue reading

"Transparency becomes an active design element when its value is somewhere between zero and 100 percent. Transparency and layers are related phenomena. A transparent square of color appears merley pale or faded until it passes over another shape or surface, allowing a second image to show through itself." I actually... Continue reading

I like the sunset lighting in the back of the tentacles it actually blends very well with the entire background, including the clouds shadow. The ship however should have been placed darker, the sun is gone, so the light is limited to the other side of the sales, which are hidden.
The flying saucers from the far back look blurry enough to seem that they are far away. The one in the front could be sharpened a bit more as it is closer than the rest. The water does look calm and the color/brightness is consitent all the way through.

The sky seemed to be a dark day which goes with the darkness of the water and the shore...including the characters (cat, bear and mechanical dinosaur).
