It's kind of funny but I used to look at adolescents as a stage in life that we go through, but as a sit here now I may look at things in a more mature matter, I still feel like a kid. I often find my self thinking what am I supposed to be doing with my life, like there was a solid answer. We grow up with these thoughts of what we are supposed to be doing and we forget to just be a kid. We waste our youth trying to be adults and then we spend our grown up years acting more immature than we ever did. It's that feeling of "the grass is always greener" we what what we don't have. Everywhere else except where we are, in this moment. We forget to just be happy with who we are because we are always striving to become something that we are not. I have so many friends that new exactly what they wanted to be when they grew up, and some of them even got what they wished for and after everything is said and done they're still not happy with were they ended up. I mean really, do you really know what you want out out life as a kid? We teacher our children to have goals and that great, we all need goals, but we forget live in the moment. We think we know what we want out of life, but life has so many curve balls. Some times you just have to go with the flow. Let go of the steering wheel and just take things as they come. We spend so much time trying to find what we expect out of life, that we miss the everyday opportunities that life throws at us. Life is a puzzle, even when you think you have it figured out, there is still always one more piece to try and fit in, and sometime you have no idea where it goes and that is o.k. Life isn't meant to necessarily be understood, just go with it and expect the unexpected. I finish with this I'm kind of drunk and I'm not sure if any of this is going to make any sense but I'm hopeful, "There are no mistakes in life only lessons, lessons are repeated until learned" and that's just life! Don't forget tot enjoy the little things, life full of them and if you don't pay attention you will miss them. Set goals and strive for them but don't forget to be happy with with what you have in front of you.
