I do not approve usage of the N word, however you are absolutely on point with your observation of the show Hardcore Pawn. I have seen bits and pieces of episodes and can truly say the way the people, particullarly blacks are portrayed on this show is outright bafoonish. It's funny how there are no primetime shows directed for blacks but you can see plenty of them on shows like COPS, AMERICA'S MOST WANTED,Hardcore Pawn, BAIT CARS,etc....

I could not agree with you more. It's funny when I read a report on 50 cent and ppl post comments on how much money he has. There also is the proverbial jab at Rick Ross, even when the story has nothing to do with him. Here is a reality check, I'm not the first to do this but I want to reiterate the fact that 50 cent has not had succes with anything related to "music" in years. where are the hit records? Can anyone name a recent banger from Fif? And please don't say that song with jerimih. It's almost like he has forgotten about his craft. People like to point out that "he is doing other things", and I say, he is failing miserably at those ventures also(cancelled mtv show, straight to DVD movies, terminated business deals(sleek headphones), G-unit apparel, etc....Whose are the new G-NIT signees? Hot Rod? kidd kidd? Pauly D?. Curtis You said it best, fif could have all the money in the world but it must be killing him to know that he is not relevant in the "music" industry. The whole irony of it all was Fif kept talking how irrelevant Nas was and now look at where his carrer is. By the way nas will always be relevant because is is a lyricist and is "respected" by the industry.

You know what the problem is with hip hop? The lack of objectivity. I have read some of the comments to this story on SOHH and other sites and I keep reading that Rick Ross did not address(step to) five o(50cent), Jeezy, Trick Daddy, T.I., or anyone else for that matter. It's one thing to dislike an artist because you hate what they stand for but I think it is important to post comments that are factual. Rick ross not only addressed 50 cent on record, he went to his(50's) home town shot videos looking for him. I live in New York and he's been here with no incidents since the 50 beef. So the insinution that he is scared of 50 has no valadity. To be honest with you 50's career has never been the same since that beef. As far as the other beefs, just google, Rick Ross responds to any of the afore mentioned artist above and you will see that he has responded to each of them in someway. I think the bigger issue here should be, as a community that loves this music, what do we do about up & coming and unproven artist like kreayshawn, who unprovockingly take shots at established acts. This is the only artfarm that this is tolerated, doesn' t happen in country, pop, rock, blues or classical. I think as people who love this music we should let artist know that get your fame the old fashion way, not come out dissing someone else for fame. Younghavok, thanks for your time.

Let me enlightened you my friend. From reading some of your past post it appears that you are a big fan of Mr. five o(no pun intented). You say his won 6out of 7 when it comes to beefs. Let me set the record straight. Its obvious that he didn't end ross career but the biggest beef he ever lost, the one that started his demise, was to Jadakiss(d-block). What they did was expose 50 for the hypocrite that he is. I live in NY and ask anyone they will tell you lyrically they damaged him. It's one thing to go at Ja Rule but when he tried that with guys with the street cred that D-BLOCK had, he was exposed. I can keep going and talk about how his trying to stay relavent by attempting to spark new beefs with Diddy, Jay-Z and even tried Kaney a while back but know wants to be buddies with all of them. You write about people don't care about authentic rappers anymore and you want to use the fakes rapper out there as an example. Let me ask you a question musically what has he done that's had people buzzin'?

ST I appreaciate your observation and fairness. What bothers me about people who write in to SOHH and other hip-hop sites is the lack of objectivity. That being said, I will not be PC about lloyd Banks and G-UNIT. The truth is G-UNIT is so desperate that they are resorting to doing things that are out of their elements in order to sell records. I could see it now LLoyd Banks begging 50 to let him work with rappers outside of G-UNIT. Their was a time when G-UNIT would try to spark beefs with artist who worked with artist they were beefing with(fat Joe, D-Block,Kaney West, etc....). Now I hear Banks is talking about he wants to work with justice league, Kanye, styles P, fabolous, and reakwon. What do all these arist have in common? They all have worked with Rick Ross. So I guess join em if you can't beat them. It's funny because last week I see 50 and Banks talking about it was never personal with Kaney, Oh really is that the reason G-UNIT called Kaney Gay every chance they could. What's changed? I guess desperation will make your worst enemy your best friend. I can keep going and point out more hypocrisy but I'll just leave by saying lets watch peoples actions more than what they say.
