"I would rather die having spoken in my manner, than speak in your manner and live. For neither in war nor yet in law ought any man use every way of escaping death. For often in battle there is no doubt that if a man will throw away his arms, and fall on his knees before his pursuers, he may escape death, if a man is willing to say or do anything. The difficulty, my friends, is not in avoiding death, but in avoiding unrighteousness; for that runs deeper than death."-Take a guess ‘He either fears his fate too much, Or his dessert is small, Who fears to put it to the touch, And win or lose it all.’

Maybe in another 400 years, America will finally figure out that Leftists and Democrats are part of one single alliance committed to pro Totalitarian, pro fascist, and pro communist utopias. Then again, that's assuming there's still a country we would recognize as an America then.

The politicians just want more money to hire prostitutes and to pay for the orgies of their loyalists, like Obama's SS.

The Democrats have produced this destiny. There is only a "we" if you owe your allegiance to their cause and their Leftist alliance. Democrats are very good at either causing wars to start that get people killed or very good at ending wars that then get even more people killed in Vietnam, Cambodia, etc. In retrospect, the problem with the war was never really in Afghanistan. It was here in the heart of America, on both coasts even. People were trying to act like the Battle of Marathon would have been won if they had forgotten about their own home front. Amateurs study tactics because the concept of strategy and logistics requires too much long term thinking. Instead of winning a war with guns, you can just have the Taliban win because of a Democrat political victory. Much easier. They obey Sun Tzu's principles while America is worried about something else entirely. If America's wars are determined primarily by American politics, then it is quite a waste of money, manpower, and time to spend those resources overseas when you can spend at home. Destroying the back of Leftist power in this nation might win America 10 wars. A 100 wars even, with simply the resources and lives spent in one theater of operations in the MIddle East.

There's a distinct possibility that the current military industrial profits being made off the old legacy aircraft and maintenance parts are going into Democrat pockets. After all, it was people like Diane Feinstein's husband who used political connections to get military contracts rerouted to their favored companies. After 50 years of this, who knows how much military industrial profit has gone into the pockets of Murtha, Feinstein, and other Dem defense peeps. The prospect of generating more American jobs, increasing American technology, and discarding the legacy contracts and royalties may not seem like such a good idea to the Democrat regime of today. I mean, it's not like they can keep control of their slaves by generating more high tech jobs.

Dodd's running the MPAA now. MPAA is the union like organized mob that controls copyrights. Former Goldman sachs boardmember was also allied with Democrats. Conveniently copyright gives Congress an excuse to raid the internet and control it. A lot of connections nobody knows about. Because they weren't paying attention back when the Left was thought a harmless thing that was just a difference in political parties. Yeah, that's one different political party all right.

Obama is a product of Bill Ayers and his Leftist revolutionary plans. Ayers chickened out cause a bomb blew out most of his cell, so he decided to take the fruits of capitalism and rest his digs for good. While using that wealth and influence to create agents to carry on the cause. Obama was a convenient agent. And there are plenty of others the Left deposited in America's power structure that nobody knows about. Until they become active that is. Of course the Leftist alliance is a very complicated house of cards. Thus it's not just Ayers ideology playing a part in the makeup of Obama, but also Leftist Black Liberation Theology. It is truly a cult based upon religious fanaticism.

It is plainly necessary for the Left to destroy the US military as an institution. They tested the waters by denying them absentee ballots and because they got away with that, they advanced operations to the next phase. Attriting the US military while at the same time co-opting them with bought Admirals and Generals.

I noted soon after 2008 that Obama gets a kick out of seeing Americans suffer and die. Afghanistan was simply a very convenient opportunity to do so without expending much effort. Effort is a problem for the lazy Obamas. But some effort is worth getting that big fat Obama grin reward. They definitely enjoy it. And if Americans hadn't figured out that US soldiers are props and expendable resources to the DC Regime in 2010, maybe now they have. Or maybe not. Belief is still hard to come by when they face true evil. It's easier to just turn their face from it.

I actually think this is one of the few signs of American strength left. That even a Thug in Chief totalitarian setup like Obama still feels the need to cater to the Jacksonian, military crazy, part of America.

Use political favors to get his wife a 300k a year consulting job at a hospital, doing nothing to help patients, while telling corporations that they need to cut back on the private jets and vacations on the tax payer's dime. Meanwhile his family takes vacations on the tax payer's dime.

You're wasting your time with these explanations. For they presuppose that the person you are talking to has a conscience. Those in line for chow from the sugar daddy, aren't going to pay you any mind, because you don't butter their bread for all intents and purposes. There is no such thing as the rule of law, dignity, freedom, respect, or ethics for those that belong to the Leftist alliance.

Looks like they penetrated the Afghan security forces quite well given the time Obama gave them. Naturally so, when he's their ally. Much like the Vietcong, they cannot do any appreciable damage but they can sow dissent and send intel along. The moment they come out of the jungle and the tunnels, their clandestine networks break open and can be purged. But at the same time, it makes a lot of people think the war is lost because the people they are supposed to be allies somehow turned on them. People use this strategy because it works. So long as you don't care about losing a few dozen agents of yours in the process. Karzai doesn't have nearly as much power in Afghanistan as Obama has in the US, yet the person people are most angry with and want to nuke isn't Obama or Washington DC. Figures. The reason why America lost the Vietnam war wasn't because of the Vietcong, how many citizens they executed in the Tet Offensive, or how many people died in the tunnels trying to flush out the Vietcong. The reason why America lost is because of Walter Kronkite and a US President's decisions. The history will repeat itself, and perhaps this time there won't be a Saigon evacuation. Because there's nowhere to evacuate to, as America itself will be in civil war.

So the Left's political logic here, you're telling me, is that Obama was seen as a weak person that wouldn't call the shots in time, but did the goods when it came to killing Obama. And this means Romney, who they say won't be able to call the shots in time.... will not get the goods in if he becomes President? Or rather, is the real Demoncrat message saying that if you go against Obama, like Bin Laden, the US government will drop a Fing brain ventilation on you, making you end up like those at Ruby Ridge and WACO and all those 1000 SWAT raids on the wrong addresses and all those "illegal" milk containers and illegal endangered wood carvers?

A commendable goal. However, it took the South several decades to free themselves from their Democrat masters to even think about voting for Reagan. I'm not holding my breath. At least, not until the next civil war solves these issues once and for all. Until the next one, at least.

They'll be voting for Obama again in 2012. Same as with Yon. The difference is, people are like this irregardless of their political persuasion or other beliefs. It's personality or character flaw. It's not that pro military people don't have flaws like Leftists have flaws. It's that the Left rewards this behavior, whereas pro military people do not. But when you do get someone with a pro military reputation like Yon, you can easily see who flocks to whom. Loyalists will not believe you when you say that their Yon friend is this or that. They will not. It's just what it is. If the world was different, we wouldn't have Obama, the Left, global warming robber barons like Al Gore, religious hacks and sadist torturers like Ayers, Afrotanica author, and Reverend Sharptons and Jackarses.

Do you know how they are going to pay for all these conscripts and their "bennies", given that Obama and other Leftists routinely raid the military to fund socialism? Here's an easy answer.... if they just turn the US military into a social service controlled by evil Leftist totalitarian bureaucrats... well, then there's no funding problem at all. And Obama minions may get their "civilian security force" that is as strong as the US military... just imagine what Eric Holder, the author of Fast and Furious, the purveyors and instigators of WACO and Ruby Ridge could do with that...

It was one thing to get donations and maintain his equipment via donations while doing the report on the various American wars. But now it is quite clear that his motivations for doing so wasn't a citizen or military duty at all. Otherwise, like most sane Americans civilian or military, they want to return to civilization and get out of the barbarian indian lands. But Yon wants to stay away, because somewhere inside of him he knows that civilization is no longer fit for him.

Well, the direct answer is that Yon's supporters believe Yon provides them a service or benefit. Thus people give him power because they think it will benefit them somehow. Much of this belief stems from Yon's reputation. The other part of the equation is that once you vote in for Obama, and disaster happens, it's kind of hard to then decide you want to think for yourself and correct your problems. Most people simply double down on the gamble and go from 1k debt to 100k debt. How did it happen? They dun know. It just did. So after giving Yon power and making all these claims about what a great guy Yon is and the good he does.... how much social status would you lose if you had to back flip 180 and tell your social circle and friends that you were 100% wrong?
