Yawn. As usual Sally your lack of real world experience & political insight shines through.
Why dont you "get it"?
Votes from Tory MEPs were "decisive" in speedy expansion of the EU's foreign service
Last Thursday, on the orders of William Hague, the ECR group in the European Parliament, that includes Tory MEPs, voted to support the formal creation of the European External Action Service. I write formal because the EEAS has been in effective existence for some time. The EEAS is a delibera...
I am sure Team Dave are working on a new EU cast iron guarantee to sucker the British electorate again.
New Tories are the same duplicitous, two faced, lying shysters as New Labour - no difference at all.
What will it take to get democracy & the will of the people obeyed here in the UK? Armed insurgency?
I despise what the Lab / Con / Lib cabal of crooks in Westminster have done to our country & our so called democracy - hanging is too good for them, but it would be a start.

Shame, but not surprising.
I have felt considerably better about the neo socialist BBC since I stopped paying the TV Tax to them three years ago.
In an age of soundbite TV, the BBC shouldn't be axeing Straight Talk
It must be one of the BBC's cheapest news shows. Filmed with just two cameras, in an all black studio - evoking the Charlie Rose show from the USA - the BBC's Straight Talk is a thirty minute interrogation of a leading politician by Andrew Neil. At least it was. Unfortunately Straight Talk is ...

One pro EU big state high taxes Tory is as good as another for leader in waiting these days.
Bring back Maggie - more balls than the current cabinet put together.
Jeremy Hunt is the man to beat in the race to succeed David Cameron, says Matthew d'Ancona
In the August edition of GQ Matthew d'Ancona looks at the runners and riders to succeed David Cameron. Some might think Mr d'Ancona's piece is very premature but in a world where Kevin Rudd can go from one of Australia's most popular ever Prime Ministers to being booted out of office - all with...
William will do as he is told by his Brussels masters, like the rest of us in the UK.
How much of a Euro-sceptic is William Hague?
Party members love William Hague. That, at least, is the message they send in our regular poll of Shadow Cabinet ratings. The Foreign Secretary usually commands the top of the table and nearly always makes the first three. His popularity's only taken a serious hit once - when the Party dro...
So real Tories support the coalition of the mediocre middle ground nonsense do they?
Sure, & Gordon Brown was an astute financial wizard.
I am still amazed that we have a retarded political system that allows the third party - who lost seats at the last election - to actually hold sway over the majority.
Democracy in the UK? Demockery more like.
If only Dave could have kept his cast iron guarantee - I & many other real Tories would have voted for him.
PS: What is Conservative about the outrageously high taxes in the UK? DC may as well have lost for all the good he is doing for Conservative politics.
Tory members' support for Coalition continues to grow
Tim Montgomerie
So the cardigan coalition is going to disarm the majority law abiding gun owners because of one man, as horrendous as his actions were.
Again the majority must suffer to accomodate the knee jerk reactions of the media elite & their friends in the politifcal elite.
Since the Labour Government took away my handguns, has it made society any safer?
No.
I have owned guns legally since I was 18. I have never been involved in any incident that caused any citizen fear & distress because of my ownership - let alone actually ever pointing a firearm at anyone.
There are some insidious reasons why Governments use such incidents to disarm the population.
This time I will not, under any circumstances, hand over my shotgun. It is my last line of defence against the untouchable criminal classes (who are armed) & increasingly despotic British Governments who automatically use any excuse to increase their power over us.
Cameron & Clegg be warned - we have had enough of the big state interfering with our lives.
After Cumbria, calls for tougher firearms laws are understandable. They're also wrong.
It's taken less than twenty-four hours, in the aftermath of the Cumbria horror, for the cry to go up: let's rush in further firearms restrictions. One case for doing so is up and running in the Guardian (unsurprisingly) here. The author writes: "If firearm owners were not permitted to store guns...
Is that it?
A complete failure of imagination & an overwhelming sense that we Conservatives just dont get it.
What about the 111 tax hikes under Labour? Are we Conservatives happy to continue Labours theft from private individuals & private endeavours?
What about EUROPE? Any more "cast iron" guarantees going?
No wonder the three main partys in our "demockery" are considered by the British to be the same team, the same cabal of crooks in different rosettes.
An unbelievable failure of understanding of the problems we face & the necessary measures to begin correcting the situation - but most of all this "pamphlet" is an insult to every British citizen who deserves good & honest Governance.
The modern Conservative party do not deserve my vote, nor on the strength of this pathetic marketing rag deserve Government.
When will the real Tories stand up? I know we are still in there somewhere.
CCHQ approves strong immigration message for campaigning in marginal seats
A couple of weeks ago I began a process to find an ideal leaflet and drew up a list of policy pledges that could be included on that ideal leaflet. It's very good to see an almost exact reproduction of that list appear in a newspaper advert placed by our excellent candidate in South Ribble, Lo...
So Blue labour are carrying on with the insanity of Red Labours ethnic cleansing of English rural communities by swamping us with new houses.
Prescott would be so proud of Schapps - carrying on his insane policy of tarmacing over the English countryside in the name of "progress".
The 12,000 - 15,000 houses to be built in North West Leicestershire under prescotts plans are a major reason why the populace are turning to the unmentionable party - & the lack of a clear Tory policy to scupper this insanity is why i am & many other Tories are voting UKIP - they will stop this madness & the ethnic destruction of English rural communities.
Grant Shapps promises incentives to turn NIMBYs into YIMBYs
YIMBYs being Yes, In My Back Yard! In a speech to the IPPR Shadow Housing Minister Grant Shapps MP said that not-in-my-backyard attitudes to new development were perfectly rational so long as there were no benefits to local communities: "Extra homes require additional services and councils hav...
New Labour, Blue Labour - i really am not surpirsed in the least that the New Conservative party is full of Blair fans.
Thats why real Tories like me are voting UKIP.
Do the Conservatives have a "Blair complex"?
This is the thesis of James Forsyth in tomorrow's Spectator: "The Conservatives still have something of a Blair complex. Gordon Brown is fairly easy to despise, as opinion polls indicate. But even now the Conservatives live in awe of Blair, knowing that he — like Thatcher — was never defeate...
The Tories will win the next GE by default - not because they are offering anything different to Labour.
Camerons response to the Scamalot TroughGate saga has been lamentable & weak.
He should have kicked the troughing grandees out of the Party.
And as for attacking UKIP - I would like to ask DC why he cannot give me, a Conservative voter, an unequivocal guarantee that no matter which other country ratifies the Lisbon Treaty / EU Constitution that I & every other British subject will get our say.
I am one of those who is switching their vote to UKIP - I remain unconvinced by Camerons "business as usual" Tory lite policies & party.
Its not too late Dave - just say you will guarantee a referendum on Lisbon & I will vote Tory.
MacKay must go if Tories are serious about cleaning up Parliament
Jonathan blogged late yesterday evening on David Cameron's effective sacking of Peter Viggers. CCHQ has spun the same message to lots of newspapers this morning. The Sun is typical: "Sir Peter, the MP for Gosport, was told to retire or be thrown out of the party by leader David Cameron. His c...
Greetings Tiger,
Communist-Lite - I like that, but I think it is worse than you & i fear.
They are more akin to Pol Pot-esque Agrarianists.
I have to state that I am trying desperately hard to convince 3 close friends not to vote BNP - these are not jackbooted Hitler fetishists or in way racist - they do however firmly believe that their children are being disenfranchised from a future in their own country.
I cannot find an answer when they state quite correctly that no one asked them or their parents or grandparents via the ballot box if they wanted to live in the multi cultural "utopia" we have today.
Imagine in 1997 if anyone had stated that the BNP would be the growing force they were today, no one, including me would believe you.
Its bleak. And it is all our fault & the failure of the main parties to trust in democracy & give people the choices they want.
There is nothing British about the BNP
The BNP wants to define itself - as a patriotic party concerned about jobs and housing. I've written for The Telegraph today arguing that we must not let that happen and we need to focus on the BNP's core belief - its desire to build an all white Britain. The BNP is making sophisticated use of ...
All three main parties are to blame for the rise of National Socialism in Great britain - including our Conservative Party.
In the headlong rush to be "the heir to Blair" & occupy the ridiculously outmoded "centre ground" we have left the stage open for them.
We will all reep what we have sown. Be prepared to be horrified at the Euro elctions - & maybe that horror will wake the Tory party up from its languid stooper & actually address the issues that the BNP are feeding off.
Cue that Sally woman calling me a closet racist & BNP supporter in 3, 2, 1....

Mmm. You seem to have a thing for Christians indoctrinating children, yet say nothing about a certain faith who do indoctrinate their children by making them recite scripture over & over again from very early ages.
Are you just a typical hypocrit anti Christian left wing liberal fascist wingnut or do you think that all religious adoptees should be banned?
Can you really differentiate between one set of grown ups with invisible friends over a different set of grown ups who subscribe to a differing brand of organised religion?
To single out one set of religious nutters over another smacks of ingrained lefty bias against Christians on your part - a bias that can only be exceeded when you lot mentions Israel.
Gay adoption critics "retarded homophobes"
The state funded British Association for Fostering and Adoption, usually sticklers for Political Correctness, has used the term "retarded" to describe opponents of gay adoption, according to a report in the Daily Mail. Since 2002 unmarried couples, including gay couples, have been allowed to ado...

Unbelievable.
It seems that anyone who disagrees with you is instantly a BNP member or supporter, & boy dont you shout about it. No wonder many people dont bother posting here.
You are sooooooooo New Labour Sally, are you sure you would not feel more at home at Labourlost?

For all those who have been called a BNP member by Sally, please ignore her.
I joined that club yonks ago - so much so that i avoid posting here now just in case my good Conservative name is besmirched by her yet again.
She is a child of the Blair generation, & although purports to be a Tory she is very quick to close down debate with anyone who is disagreeing with her simply by calling them a BNP member.
Very New Labour that is Sal.

It won't do.
Repay the money, apologise & resign.
All "Honourable Members" who have claimed excessively -& you know that we know who you are, should do the above.
Immediately.
No debate.
No negotiation.
No muddying the waters, nor deflection from the core issue.
Just go. Now.

I have come to the conclusion that Albion may be visiting us from the BNP with the express purpose of winding everyone up.

Sally,
That is an outrageous accusation.
I have been a member of the Conservative Party since 1968, FYI.
If you must slander people with accusations make sure you have more than your ingrained prejudice against debating with real Conservatives to hand.

Fatwas against 9/11 & 7/11.
Post some proper links or stop defending Islamofascism in Great Britain.
What a hoon you are.
Hazel Blears versus The Guardian
It shouldn't even be an issue but Hazel Blears has taken exactly the right position on Dr Daud Abdullah of the Muslim Council of Britain. Dr Abdullah is Deputy Director-General of the MCB and recently signed The Gaza Declaration. The Times records what the Declaration states: "The declaration,...
Ok.
"Tiny minority of extremists". Got it.
"Islam hijacked by false Muslims" Right. Got it.
Keep repeating those mantra's chaps, inspite of all the evidence to the contrary.
Now, anyone of you got an answer as to why, for instance, Osmama Bin Laden has not been subjected to a Fatwa for falsely representing Islam?
Are you really saying that Osama is not a true pious Muslim according to the central tenets of Islam?
Anyone?

"Would be much point in having a fatwa against the perpetrators of 11/9 and 7/7 as they are already dead".
Your grammar is atrocious.
Please re-write your point in clear concise English.
Maybe then I can enlighten you as to why the point you almost made is so important.
I apologise if you are the victim of the education policy of this current Government - it really is not your fault if that is the case.
Resident Leftie,
There really is no point debating with you as you are someone who clearly argues from an ideological & a party political viewpoint rather than from an enlightened & an educated viewpoint.
I see Labourlist is particularly dire today - is that why we find you again seeking solace on the website of the winning team?

Do you want some links?
Keep me apprised.

Jamie / Walter,
Will you both agree that we have seen Islamic scholars granting Fatwa's & death sentences for heinous crimes such as:
* Naming a teddy bear Mohammed
* Drawing a cartoon of the Prophet Mohmammed
That is two out of a list of 976 verified Fatwa's I have. I won't inflict the rest upon you just yet.
Tell me, if terrorists acting in the name of Islam are not true Muslims, then why have we not seen any fatwa's or death sentences being passed against these "mis-understanders" of Islam?
Why no days of "Islamic rage" on our streets as the true Muslims claw back their religion from mass murederers who purport to be acting in the name of Islam?
Why no Fatwa on the 9/11 mass murderers?
Why no Fatwa against the 7/7 bombers?
The reason, as I am sure that you are aware really, is because these men were acting on an Islamic imperative to wage jihad against all unbelief, as set out endlessly in Islamic scripture.
Appeasement is not a strategy.
PS - out of the 976 Fatwa's I have on record not one was issued for "terrorism / mass murder in the name of Islam"
Go figure.

Good afternoon Walter,
As you are "in the family" as it were with the cult of Islam I take everything you say vis a vis the cult of Islam with a huge piece of salt.
Go to the Religion of Peace website.
Then come back & tell me what the body count is today - that is, how many people have been killed since September 11th 2001 in the name of Islam - then try & tell me there is nothing to see here, nothing to worry about.
Then you could go to Jihadwatch - always a good read there - & that website is hosted in America & thus far not one American Muslim has seen fit to exercise their rights to sue for defamation.
I wonder why.
I repeat, there is only one Koran (Quran), only one Hadith, only one Sunnah & only one prophet Mohammed (PBUH)....
....& of course only one Ummah, one nation of the cult of Islam.
I also repeat, on the evidence available from around the world everyday I am of the firm opinion that the cult of Islam is a terrorist organisation with fascist / supremacist ambitions.
Please feel free to post any evidence you have to the contrary - such as mass demonstrations by the mythical moderate Muslims protesting at their brethren dragging Islam through the mud by waging Jihad against all unbelief, or an actual Fatwa being placed upon Al Qaeda & its leaders .....go on, impress me, give me pause for thought.

Jamie,
Please, on the evidence available, refute what I have written in clear unequivocal terms.
Do include your clinical interpretations of the scarier parts of the Hadith, the Sunnah & the Koran (Quran) & explicitly refute the Islamic Sura's that make Jihad an Islamic imperative for all Muslims.
Either that or please Google the word "Dhimmi", then look in the mirror.
